Assessment Councils

Assessment procedures at OSU are guided by three main councils: The Academic Assessment and Improvement Council (AAIC), the General Education Advisory Council (GEAC), and the Student Affairs Assessment Advisory Council (SAAAC).  The Committee for the Assessment of General Education (CAGE) is a sub-committee of AAIC focused on general education assessment.

Assessment is an important tool that facilitates discussion about academic and co-curricular programs and provides useful information to guide continuous improvement.

The General Education Advisory Council reviews courses that receive one or more of the General Education course designators.

The Student Affairs Assessment Advisory Council was established to provide planning, resources, training, and support to continuously improve co-curricular student learning at Oklahoma State University.
