Compass is a computerized placement test that is
administered in University
Testing Center.
If
a student has an ACT subject area score below 19 and
results from Entry Level Placement
Analysis indicate that a remedial course is needed
in the subject area, the student may take a COMPASS
test to qualify for college-level courses in that
area. COMPASS placement tests are available in math,
reading, and English. Students who pass the math and
reading tests will qualify for college-level science
courses.
