Our program delivers many service courses to the University - do we have to assess those students, also?

Program outcomes assessment focuses on students in the degree program and alumni from the past five years. Typically, assessments are targeted towards seniors, but it may also address student learning at other levels within the degree program.

Program outcomes assessment does not include assessment of students from other programs who take the service or general education courses provided by program. Faculty interested in assessment of student learning in service or general education courses may submit a proposal and request funding for a Special Assessment Project.
