The
Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education requires
assessment in four areas:
Entry
level assessment determines students' past academic preparation for
purposes of course placement.
Mid-level assessment is to be used to improve
the institution's program of general education by
assessing student learning competencies in the areas
of reading, writing, mathematics, and critical thinking.
Program outcomes assessment is intended to
measure how well students meet institutionally stated
programmatic goals and objectives.
Assessment of student satisfaction reveals
the perceptions students and alumni have of campus
programs and services.
