Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement (BCSSE)

Results from the 2014 BCSSE for incoming freshmen. BCSSE results are linked with the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE).

The Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement (BCSSE) is designed to collect data regarding entering college students’ high school academic and co-curricular experiences as well as their expectations for participating in educationally purposeful activities during their first year of college.The most recent BCSSE survey was administered at Oklahoma State University during late Summer 2014.

NOTE: The 2011 BCSSE replaced the CIRP National Freshman Survey.
