An
on-campus, or residual, testing program is provided for
ACT-participating colleges to administer the ACT to
prospective students who were unable to test
on a national test date.
How
it Works
- Results
are reported only to
the college administering the test. No Student Reports
or High School Reports are generated, and no additional
Score Reports will be generated to report scores
to any other institution.
- Testing
can be conducted on any date except an ACT national
test date.
- Students
may not repeat residual testing until 60 days
have passed since their previous testing.
Testing
at Oklahoma State University
The
residual ACT is offered at the following times:
Tuesday 1:00 PM
Thursday 1:00 PM
Friday 8:30 AM
You
must call to schedule an appointment to take the
test. The cost is $40 and can be paid with
cash, check, money order, or credit card. Sixty days must pass between each
test. If you choose to test without sixty days
elapsing, your score will be nullified.
Upon arrival, we will provide you with pencils and scratch paper and unlike the national ACT, you are not allowed to write in the
ACT book. The testing time is approximately
four hours. You MUST present a valid drivers license,
state ID card, or passport in order to take the test.
After your test, you will receive
a “student copy” which is not an official
copy. Your residual test scores are for
OSU only. We will send a copy to either OSU-Stillwater,
OSU-Oklahoma City, OSU-Okmulgee, or NOC-Stillwater (but not NOC-Tonkawa).
You may schedule a residual ACT by
contacting the Testing Center. Be prepared to give your name, address,
birth date, telephone number, and social security number
in order to make an appointment. We cannot register
you without this information.
