The OSU Testing Center primarily offers
three types of tests: national exams, residual exams, and
proctored exams. Descriptions of each type, including specific
exams offered, follow.
National Exams
The OSU testing Center administers numerous exams for undergraduate
and graduate admissions purposes as well as for licensure
or certification. The results of these exams are valid
at most institutions of higher education and at other locations
as appropriate to the specific exam. More information regarding

Residual / Institutional Exams
The OSU Testing Center administers several exams for current or
prospective OSU students who are unable to take the associated
national exam on a regularly scheduled national test date.
Unlike national exams, scores for these residual exams
are valid only at OSU and NOC - Stillwater, though the
exams are offered much more frequently than the national
exams, often daily.

Proctored Exams
The OSU Testing Center proctors make-up exams and internet exams
for OSU courses and other institutions. The cost is $15
per exam for exams lasting up to two hours, and additional
fees may apply for longer exams. Contact our office at
