OSU Testing Center

The OSU Testing Center's mission is to support and advance the mission and vision of Oklahoma State University by providing high quality testing services adhering to National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines. Such services include national, state, and local test administration, test proctoring, and test scanning services that meet the needs of OSU students, faculty, staff, and administration as well as surrounding local and state communities.

The OSU Testing Center is funded through fees collected for administering tests and does not receive funding from tuition or student course fees.

All individuals who wish to take the ACT Residual at the OSU Testing Center MUST have submitted a current application to OSU before being allowed to register for the exam.  Additionally, the ACT Residual is ONLY available to students (including concurrent) unable to take the National ACT on a regularly scheduled test date in time to meet OSU's enrollment deadlines. OSU highly encourages students to take the National ACT over the ACT Residual as scores on the National ACT are accepted by more institutions and scholarships than the ACT Residual.  Only one ACT Residual Exam per year (from Nov. 1 to Oct. 31) can be used for high school students seeking concurrent enrollment at OSU.  Click here for more information on the ACT Residual at OSU.  All ACT Residual Exam appointments must be scheduled by phone at least 48 hours in advance.  Call 405-744-5958 for appointment availability.  The ACT Residual is offered most Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:30AM during the following testing windows:

  • For students planning to enroll at OSU in the Spring 2020 semester ONLY, ACT Residual test dates will be January 7, 2020 and January 10, 2020.  Students can call the Testing Center for appointments beginning December 16, 2019.
