Academic Program Outcomes Assessment REPORT Guidelines
Annual Academic Outcomes Assessment Reports are required for all OSU degree programs by the Oklahoma Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE) and are used for program improvement and accreditation reviews by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.
Tips for Academic Program Outcomes Assessment Reports
Annual Program Outcomes Assessment Reports should reflect commitment to implementing the Program's Outcomes Assessment Plan for the degree program and improving the program.
- Include a brief summary on the opportunities students have to learn the student learning outcomes.
- Provide examples of how faculty members used assessment information to modify or develop the curriculum, course content, teaching, or services to improve student learning in the program
- Describe how assessment information is shared with faculty members and integrated into curriculum planning in the program. For example, were assessment results shared with a curriculum committee, discussed at a faculty retreat, or examined by a program assessment committee?
