UAT and AAIC have updated the annual assessment award to better align with the new OSU Strategic Plan. The new award is intended to recognize innovation and creativity in assessment planning and implementation for continuous improvement to support student success as well as promote and cultivate a collaborative culture of assessment.
The new award will be conducted through a nomination process that will be reviewed by an award committee before winners are selected. Winners of the award will be:
- recognized at the University Awards Convocation in December of the winning year,
- given a plaque with the name(s) of the relevant team member(s) who have been integral to the success of assessment within the program,
- and provided with a $1,000 monetary stipend to split among the team member(s) or program/department.
- Winners will also be considered for the opportunity to be sponsored by UAT to attend the HLC Annual Conference during the following spring semester.
- The Assessment Champion for Student Success in Learning Award is nomination-based. If no nominations are received, an award may not be given that year.
