James R. Knecht, Associate Director & STAR System Coordinator
James R. Knecht joined the UAT staff in November 2014. Previously, he worked at OSU as the Learning Center Coordinator for Academic Services for Student-Athletes where he oversaw the tutoring program for OSU student-athletes. He earned a Master of Science in Telecommunications Management from OSU in 2015, a Master of Business Administration from OSU in 2013, and a Master of Arts in English from Texas Tech University in 2003. In addition to overseeing the OSU Testing Center, James also coordinates the STAR System, OSU's implementation of the GradesFirst advising, tutoring, and retention system.

Kelva Hunger, Assistant Director of Assessment and Analysis
Dr. Kelva Hunger began working as Assistant Director of Assessment and Analysis in September 2017. She earned her Ph.D. and Master’s degrees from Oklahoma State University (OSU) in Research, Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics (REMS) in 2019 and 2013, respectively. During graduate school, Dr. Hunger taught courses for the REMS program, “Statistical Methods in Education” and “Research Design and Methodology,” while working in the Center for Educational Research and Evaluation (CERE). Prior to graduate school, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri in 2008.
Dr. Hunger’s dissertation is titled, “Program evaluator burnout: Investigating the psychometric properties of the Modified Maslach Burnout Inventory for Program Evaluators (MBI-PE) and characteristics of affecting burnout among program evaluators.” Her research interests broadly include program evaluation, measurement and factor analysis, survey design, and qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Kaitlynn Holcomb, Assessment Specialist
Kaitlynn Holcomb graduated from OSU in 2018 with a BS in Psychology. She joined University and Testing in February 2020 and has previously worked at OSU in the Office of the Registrar.

Robin Fitzgerald, Assessment Specialist
Robin Fitzgerald joined University Assessment and Testing in May 2020. She has previously worked at OSU in the Division of Institutional Diversity. She is currently a Master’s student in the Research, Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics (REMS) program. Prior to joining the OSU team, she graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2019 with a BA in Psychology.
Steve Brown, Computer Specialist III
Steve Brown has been providing technology support for University Assessment and Testing at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater for fifteen years. His responsibilities include all technology support for University Assessment as well as desktop support, lab support, and database development for the Testing Center at OSU-Stillwater. Before his work with UAT, Steve provided multimedia support for the Faculty Support Center at OSU Stillwater, and years previous he provided desktop, lab, and database support for the College of Arts and Sciences for a total combined 25 years of higher education Information Technology experience.

Paola Sainz Sujet, Assessment and Analysis Graduate Research Associate
Paola Sainz Sujet joined University Assessment and Testing (UAT) at Oklahoma State University (OSU) in November 2019. She works at UAT as an Assessment and Analysis Graduate Research Associate. Her work at UAT provides valuable experience in institutional and program assessment, and her time at OSU will have a significant impact on her professional future endeavors. Paola has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia, a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology Applied to Education from the University of Salamanca in Spain, along with several graduate certificates in the areas of Education and Human Resources. Paola is part of the Research Council for the Bolivian Academy of Sciences. Her professional interests are focused on improving the quality of education, especially higher education, by making research-oriented decisions and research-guided assessment.
